The PACE Recognition Program aims to recognize PACE organizations for their ability to measure quality, their use of quality measurement information to improve quality, and their achievement of the highest standards of performance on a sustained basis. The program is geared toward assisting organizations answer the following questions that focus on the most critical areas of the PACE model of care:
- Is the workforce diverse, competent, and capable of meeting the needs of your participants?
- Is the organization growing to provide access to meet the needs of its community?
- Is the organization operating efficiently and sustainably to meet the needs of participants served?
- Does the service and care delivery of the organization reflect person-centered care resulting in enhanced participant outcomes and quality of life?
The program will recognize the range in experiences, goals and capabilities of PACE organizations by offering various levels through which an organization can advance. There are three levels of recognition:
- Navigator Level: Quality Measurement
- Aviator Level: Quality Improvement
- Beacon Level: Quality Distinction
