APIQ has developed three model practices and an accompanying toolkit to help states that share the APIQ goal of expanding access to PACE while assuring quality. The model practices address statewide access to PACE, optimizing eligibility and enrollment, and assuring quality through performance measurement and oversight. APIQ can work with interested states to implement policies to improve access to PACE and PACE oversight.
The goal of this playbook is to showcase the ways in which APIQ can support implementing, expanding, or strengthening PACE in states. APIQ has developed model practices to proactively address common areas that may pose challenges to the growth or quality of PACE. Those practices, briefly described within, are accompanied by examples of ways that APIQ has customized the practices to meet the individual needs of states.
